A woman named "Bonnie" told police she grabbed a baseball bat when a man broke into her Manchester home over the weekend.
The 70-year-old says the intruder had taken off all his clothes and even made himself something to eat. Bonnie said her biggest concern was her grandson, who was sleeping down the hall.
So she took matters into her own hands.
"I said, 'Oh no you didn't.' And that's when I grabbed the bat," said Bonnie. "And it still didn't impress him that I was going to use it; he thought I was just showing it. So I hit him with it and beat him out the door."
The man managed to grab his clothes as he escaped from Bonnie and her bat.
Police say they are still trying to figure out why he broke into the woman's home in the first place. Nothing was stolen and the suspect remains at large.
