Amy Winehouse tops UK charts 8 days after death

July 31, 2011 12:00:00 AM PDT
Amy Winehouse's album "Back to Black" is back on the top of the British album chart, eight days after the singer died.

The Grammy Award-winning album was also No. 1 back in 2006 when it was released. Also Sunday, Winehouse's debut album "Frank" reached No. 5.

Meantime, no decision has been made on whether to release the trove of music Winehouse left behind.

The 27-year-old singer, who struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead of unknown causes inside her London home on July 23.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
