The Fisher family of Tennessee spotted a slithery stowaway on their windshield as they drove down a Memphis street.
Tony Fisher grabbed his camera, while Rachel continued to drive. The snake eventually dropped off the car.
Now the Fishers are getting some criticism from animal lovers for not stopping the car to set the snake free.
"A lot of Facebook comments," said Tony Fisher. "I don't like snakes. I'm more scared of snakes probably than my wife is. And so, I wa, I just want the thing off the car. I don't want to try to have to get out of the car and deal with it."
The Fishers guess the snake crawled into the engine when their car was parked in a wooded area overnight.
