Massive sinkhole in Chicago swallows car; Driver rescued

CHICAGO, Il.

The sinkhole on the city's northwest side was 14 feet by 14 feet in size and 12 feet deep. It was so big that a car fell into it and flipped upside down Saturday morning.

The driver was rescued and taken to a hospital, and has since been released.

A spokesperson with the city water department in Chicago says that a water main broke, undermining the street and causing it to collapse.
