Art supply store pulls 'Urban Art' events in LA County

LOS ANGELES

The store announced this Wednesday after Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine accused the company of promoting graffiti.

Zine praised the company for its decision to pull the program.

Video from the Aaron Brothers website shows the company had planned "Artrageous" events at 19 stores.

Aaron Brothers said it does not want to adversely affect the community and still plans to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles.
