Eyewitness News anchor David Ono served as moderator for ABC7 Listens. It was a packed house of diversified group of residents devoted to their community and with something to say.
"What I found was solutions. I found people with walls that were falling over, trees that were overgrown and I found different city folks stepping up to the plate and saying, 'Hey, we'll get that straight," said Carson resident Reginald Fagan. "ABC acted as a catalyst to bring folks together to bring solutions. It was positive.
Carson Mayor Jim Dear was also in attendance.
"The news you put out has to have credibility," he said. "I think you being here tonight really helps that credibility because people will believe in a station that actually cares to come to their community."
ABC7 Listens will be in Moorpark on Oct. 10.
