Huntington Park police approached a vehicle with no license plates Thursday when the driver took off. California Highway Patrol officers soon joined the chase.
The Chevy Corsica ended up on the 110 and 405 freeways, and then turned around near LAX and headed south.
A pit maneuver on Prairie Avenue in Torrance beneath a 405 Freeway underpass ended the chase.
The driver got out of his vehicle and was taken into custody peacefully.
