Conrad Murray lawyers meet for pre-trial hearing

LOS ANGELES

Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the pop star's June 2009 death.

Attorneys met to straighten out last-minute issues before resuming jury selection later this week. Murray was not present for the hearing.

One of the main issues raised by the prosecution was that pharmacist Tim Lopez could not be found. Lopez was the one who allegedly sold propofol to Murray and shipped it.

Prosecutor David Walgren told the judge he made the contact with the witness and was comfortable that he would be able to testify.

Murray was ordered to appear at the next hearing, scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m.
