The incident happened shortly after midnight Saturday on the 200 block of West 47th Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found nine people with gunshot wounds.
Devon Hakilmy, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The eight other victims were rushed to an area hospital.
Police said there was some kind of dispute that led to the shooting. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
