The violent crash occurred on the corner of Barham Boulevard and Lakeside Plaza Drive at about 3 a.m.
Authorities said the driver became trapped inside the vehicle following the incident. Firefighters rushed to the scene and had to use the Jaws of Life to free the man.
He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
