Traffic from potential stadium to be examined

LOS ANGELES According to a new Mobility Group study, 81.5-percent of fans will attend weekend games by private vehicle, 15 percent by public transit and 3.5 percent by walking.

The study says there will be ample parking, but some council members say they are concerned about potential gridlock in downtown neighborhoods on days of stadium events.

The deal to build a stadium will only move forward if an NFL team signs a long-term agreement to move to downtown L.A. and play in Farmers Field.

There was talk that the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Buffalo Bills could move to the city, as well as wishful thinking that the San Diego Chargers would return to L.A.
