A Victorville police deputy responded to a report of abuse against a juvenile on Sunday. The juvenile had informed a family member, who called police.
The suspect, 41-year-old Victorville resident Keir Pinkett, had allegedly physically and sexually abused the juvenile for a number of years, according to police.
An investigation revealed additional victims of similar crimes by Pinkett, police said in a news release.
Police performed a traffic stop on Pinkett's vehicle in Victorville Monday afternoon. Pinkett was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center on charges of sodomy, unlawful sex with a minor, continued sex with a minor over the last seven years, penetration with a foreign object and cruelty to a child.
Police think there may be other victims of Pinkett's. If you were a victim or know of someone who was victimized by Pinkett, contact Deputy James or Detective Steers of the Victorville Police Station at (760) 241-2911 or after hours at (760) 245-4211.
