A suspected bank robber nicknamed the "No Bands Bandit" has been arrested.

FBI agents and Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators arrested Joseph Kipp, 52, on Thursday in Anaheim.

They said they made the arrest after getting a tip generated from media coverage.

The suspect got the name because he demands cash with no bands attached when he approaches a teller during a holdup.

The FBI said the suspect robbed a U.S. Bank on Wednesday in Hacienda Heights.

Agents said he made the same demands two months ago at a U.S. Bank in Santa Ana, where he showed the teller a weapon beneath his clothing.
