The sheriff's department said 63 inmates were involved in a brawl in a dormitory around 1:30 p.m.
They said no one was seriously injured. One inmate was taken to the hospital for a small puncture wound that he got during the fight. Twenty inmates were treated by jail medical professionals for scratches and scrapes.
Deputies said rubber pellets were used to subdue fighting inmates. No deputies were injured.
The cause of the fight remains under investigation.
