Man stabbed after argument w/ women on bus

INGLEWOOD, Calif.

Authorities responded to reports of a fight on a bus at Hillcrest Boulevard and Florence Avenue at 10:23 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a stabbing victim, identified as Murray Brown of Los Angeles.

Brown had apparently gotten into a heated argument with two women on the bus. One of them pulled out a large knife and stabbed him in the head and neck.

The women then got off the bus at Florence Avenue and Hillcrest Boulevard and were last seen running north on Centinela Avenue.

Brown was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The female armed with a knife was described as a black woman in her 30s, heavy build and bald. She was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt.

The second female was described as a Hispanic woman in her 30s, thin build and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue pants.
