LOS ANGELES

Research In Motion is letting millions of its customers download some of its most popular apps for free, including iSpeech Translator and the games "Bejeweled" and "Texas Hold'em Poker 2." The offer is worth more than $100.

The company is also offering a free month of enhanced technical support.

A three-day outage left tens of millions of users worldwide angered over interrupted email and internet service. Shares of Research in Motion Ltd. slumped more than 6 percent in afternoon trading on Monday.

Customers have four weeks to download their free apps starting Wednesday. The offer runs until the end of the year.
