The L.A. County Public Works Department launched a free iPhone app called The Works that allows users to request and track pothole repairs, graffiti removal and street sweeping, or report incident of alleged illegal dumping and property violations.
The app will also keep users informed about road closures and recycling events.
Public Works is the first Los Angeles County department to launch its own app.
