Gelani Taylor's 9-year-old daughter died at the scene in the burning vehicle.
Taylor, 27, was pulled from the car by Good Samaritans, but she had suffered burns over 90 percent of her body.
She was an aspiring singer-songwriter.
Doctors had given her little chance of survival.
According to the /*California Highway Patrol*/, a witness came forward saying a white SUV swerved and possibly caused the collision.
Officials are looking for that SUV, but they do not have any sort of make or model description.
