Tampa police say Michael Lohan's ex-girlfriend Kate Major told them he made a harassing phone call to her shortly after being released from jail on Wednesday. While police were at Major's condo early Thursday, Michael Lohan allegedly called again, so Major put the call on speaker so police could listen.
A new warrant was issued, and police went to take him back into custody.
Officers say he saw them and jumped from a third-story balcony. Police caught him after a short foot pursuit.
Michael Lohan was taken to the hospital for a possible broken foot. Authorities say he'll be returned to jail once he's cleared by doctors.
Lohan was arrested Tuesday on domestic violence charges involving Major, a former reporter for the Star tabloid. Police say he grabbed her arms and pushed her down multiple times during a daylong argument. When Lohan was released from jail Wednesday, he said he "didn't do anything" and the charges were Major's way of making money.
