Betty Weickert's ashes were stolen last Monday when thieves broke into the SUV and stole three pieces of luggage. The ashes were inside one of the bags.
Security guards at the Westfield Promenade Shopping Center found the ashes Sunday morning in a black duffel bag that had been left in the parking lot.
The ashes and other items have been returned to the family.
