The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of East 43rd Street and Long Beach Avenue.
Authorities said it appears that some of the victims were shot while on bicycles.
They said the men were not gang members, but it's unknown if the incident was gang-related. The suspects fled the scene.
Two of the victims were listed in critical condition at the hospital.
