Tent city springs up in LA for 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' premiere

LOS ANGELES

"I'm not a camper, I'm more of a four or five star hotel girl, so see what we'll do for Breaking Dawn? I mean, come on," said Wendi Stevens of Arizona.

Whether they're Team Jacob or Team Edward, "Twilight" fans came together from across the country, some even from across the world, just to get a glimpse of the cast.

One Twi-hard from Colorado took a week off from work, another rode a bus from Houston and yet another came as far as Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Khay McBride, 40, took a bus from San Francisco and had been sleeping on nothing but a blanket since Wednesday.

"This has made my whole year," she said. "I've met some really great people."

Besides making new friends it was a chance for "Twilight" fans to meet their favorite stars face-to-handsome-face.

"This is amazing," said actor Jackson Rathbone. "One of the greatest experiences in the world. How much we love them."

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1" hits theaters Nov. 18.
