ABC's "Private Practice" will feature music from Mary J. Blige's upcoming album during its special two-hour show on Thursday.

"I am thrilled to have my music on 'Private Practice,' ... especially in these two episodes which are dealing with such important issues," Blige said in a statement.

The "Private Practice" event, titled "The Intervention," will show the doctors staging an intervention for Amelia, who had gone on a 12-day drug binge with her boyfriend.

Songs from Blige's album, "My Life II...The Journey Continues," will be solely and exclusively featured during the episode.
