Study: Cheese not so bad for heart health

LOS ANGELES

The study, supported by the Danish Dairy Board and the National Dairy Research Institute, looked at 50 people who were put on a controlled diet and added a certain amount of cheese or butter daily.

Those who ate cheese had no increase in bad cholesterol or total cholesterol.

However, after eating butter, those same participants had about 7 percent more bad cholesterol.
