Manson follower Charles 'Tex' Watson denied parole again

It was Charles "Tex" Watson's 16th subsequent parole consideration hearing at Mule Creek State Prison near Sacramento. He will be considered for another parole review in five years.

Watson was convicted of orchestrating the Tate-LaBianca killings more than 40 years ago.

Actress Sharon Tate, who was eight months pregnant, and four others were killed at her Beverly Hills home on Aug. 9, 1969. The following night, Watson helped in the killing of grocery owners Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.

Watson has argued that he's a changed man, has been a model prisoner and is no longer a danger to the public.

Watson married and divorced in prison and has four children from conjugal visits.
