Japanese astronaut plays baseball in space

LOS ANGELES

Japanese astronaut Satoshi Furukawa decided to have some fun with the laws of physics by playing a game of one-man baseball at the International Space Station.

First he delivered the pitch and then quickly floated to the other side of the room to hit the ball with a bat. He connected on the swing, and then played defense where he made the catch.

The astronaut has returned to Earth since this video was taken. In baseball lingo, he is a true three-tool player.
