The 16-year-old was shot Tuesday afternoon just off campus at Sixth Street and Pacific Avenue.
Two suspects, possibly in their early 20s, were seen leaving the scene in a newer model Kia Sportage or Sorrento, or possibly a Honda CRV.
The vehicle has a bad right brake light and a white bumper sticker above the rear license plate.
