Ricardo Aldana, 37, was arrested last week on suspicion of child molestation: and was fired by San Juan Capistrano's JSerra Catholic High School, where he taught.
Aldana posted bail Thursday and has not been charged.
The girl's mother said she feared reprisals and got a restraining order against Aldana.
The restraining order is temporary for now. A hearing next month will decide whether it will be made permanent.
