Marco Solis, 53, of San Gabriel, was stopped by a South Pasadena police officer in the 300 block of Monterey Road around 2:30 a.m. for not having a headlamp and rear reflector on his bike.
Upon further investigation, the officer found 23 pounds of marijuana, worth an estimated $23,000, hidden in an Igloo water cooler Solis was carrying on his bicycle.
Solis, who was already on felony probation for narcotics, was arrested and held at the Pasadena City Jail on $50,000 bail.
