A risky skydiving maneuver known as "swooping" has been stopped at the Perris Valley Airport after a deadly accident.

Canadian skydiver Michael Ungar was reportedly trying to swoop on Tuesday when he crashed and died.

Swooping involves skydivers skimming the ground for hundreds of feet at more than 60 mph.

Perris Valley Skydiving told the Press-Enterprise that it has temporarily banned the move while investigating the accident.
