Megan Rosa is a senior at Yorba Linda High School. She has set up an information location on campus to help students get past the fear and misconceptions of epilepsy.
"Sometimes they get scared about epilepsy. They just don't understand about it. So, for this campaign, I wanted to make them understand about it," Megan said.
Megan works closely with family and teachers to accomplish her goals. They see the strength of her dedication to the cause.
"She does not want to give up. And she is not going to let her medical condition do that to her," said Tammy Smith, a special education teacher.
It has taken time, but Megan can see that people are starting to understand this condition more and more.
"It really makes me proud and happy, because it made me feel that everybody now knows the truth about epilepsy," said Megan.
Megan has overcome her challenges and shares much needed knowledge about those challenges, and that makes her our /*Cool Kid*/.
