While the toxicology reports will take weeks to get back, the death will more than likely be ruled an undetermined/SIDS death.
The 2-month-old baby died Sunday at an apartment in Santa Ana. Police were called to the home around 8:30 a.m. According to the caller, the child was having trouble breathing.
The baby's mother was not home at the time. She left the child in the care of its grandfather and older sibling.
