3-year-old boy saves his grandmother's life

TOWNSEND, Mass.

Roxanne Doucette suffered a bad seizure earlier this week and her grandson Ethan LeBlanc immediately dialed 911.

"Nana needs help," the toddler told the 911 operator.

"Mama needs help?" the operator asked.

"No Nana needs help," he repeated.

The toddler stayed on the phone for 10 minutes and when authorities arrived, he ran to unlock the door and showed emergency workers where to find his grandmother. He also grabbed her purse that contained her list of medications and showed authorities where they could make a copy.

Little Ethan said that he stayed by his grandmother's side because he loved her.

"He said I'm here Nana and I'm going to help you Nana," Doucette recalled. "He is my hero and I love him so much."

Police presented Ethan with a brand new bicycle to recognize his maturity and quick thinking.
