Authorities responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the Canyon Lake Country Club in the 32000 block of Railroad Canyon Drive at 5:45 p.m. Scott Wade was golfing on the 17th hole with his 12-year-old son and two other golfers when he was shot in the arm.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for a superficial wound, police said.
Witnesses reported seeing three males, between the ages of 18 and 20, holding pellet rifles. The suspects were gone by the time deputies arrived.
