Student urinated in bucket at San Diego high school, lawsuit claims

SAN DIEGO

The 14-year-old said she needed to use the restroom, but when she asked her teacher, Gonja Wolf, if she could be excused, she was brought to a storage room in the back of the classroom and instructed to urinate and then empty the bucket in a classroom sink.

The girl said she did as she was told, but has been ridiculed by her fellow students at Patrick Henry High School ever since.

The claim seeks more than $25,000 in damages and payment for the girl to attend private school.

Wolf is on paid leave while the school district investigates the alleged incident.
