Responding personnel were reportedly informed an adult male was inside the burning residential structure. The victim was removed from the building and hospitalized. He died at the hospital, according to Oxnard police.
An official cause of the fire was not released. Authorities did not release the cause of the man's death.
The incident was under investigation.
