A federal judge ordered Clayton Osbon to go to a medical facility for federal prisoners for tests to determine if he was legally sane during the March 27 incident. The exam will also determine if Osbon is competent to stand trial.
Osbon left the cockpit during the flight and began screaming about religion and terrorists on March 27. Passengers wrestled him to the floor and the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas en route to Las Vegas.
