Oxnard Walmart robbed, police say

OXNARD, Calif.

Police said a man approached a clerk at the customer service desk about 10 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter at 2001 N. Rose Ave. and demanded money. Police said the suspect mentioned having a weapon, though no weapon was seen.

Police said the man was able to get away with an unspecified amount of money towards Gonzales Road.

The suspect was described to be Hispanic, about 25 years old, wearing a black beanie, black or blue sweatshirt with white print on the left side and gray pants. Witnesses reported that the suspect coughed repeatedly.
