Nine people were on board the balloon when it came down on some power lines on the 39000 block of Camino del Vino Saturday morning.
Neighbors worried that sparks from the collision would start a fire, but firefighters said recent rains kept that threat low.
Edison workers freed the balloon from the power lines.
