You might soon be able to rent out the Governor's Mansion in Sacramento.

Gov. Jerry Brown doesn't live there, but the historic building in the heart of the state capital has been home to 13 governors, including Ronald Reagan.

California State Parks is considering renting out the mansion for private parties, weddings and receptions in order to raise extra revenue for the state.

The 14,000-square-foot home features marble fireplaces and a renovated pool.
