Star Wars Day celebrated by fans on May 4

LOS ANGELES

The first organized tribute to "Star Wars" took place last year in Canada at the Toronto Underground Cinema.

Festivities included "Star Wars" trivia and a costume contest.

"Star Wars" was released in 1977.
