Joey Nocchi says he and two friends had just finished a fishing trip when they were coming back to shore on their kayaks.
The shark took a huge bite out of his kayak, sending Nocchi 5 feet into the air. He landed in the water and says he felt the shark's tail touch his body.
But the shark then swam away and Nocchi wasn't hurt.
He was able to paddle back to shore and says he'll probably stay out of the ocean for a while.
