Police said on Wednesday, a 15-year-old girl was walking home from school near Orange Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, when the man pulled up and told her to get in his car or he would shoot her.
She ran away and wasn't hurt.
During the investigation, police learned that two other girls had been approached in a similar way.
The girls described the man as 20 to 25 years old, clean-shaven with short brown hair. He was driving a white, four-door sedan.
