LANCASTER, Calif.

According to the California High Patrol and Southern California Edison, the poles went down after 7 p.m. on 110th Street West between Avenues G and D. The road is shut down and will remain so for at least 24 hours, if not longer, officials said.

Edison said only four customers were left without power.

Three crews were sent to the area to begin working on the poles, which were spaced about 250 feet apart.
