The incident happened around 8:20 a.m. Sunday in the marina's main channel. A man in a motorized boat hit a row boat and split it in half.
All nine people on board the row boat were injured. They're all expected to be OK.
The driver of the motorized boat said he did not see the smaller boat. Deputies cited him for violating a state law requiring a lookout on his boat.
