Dogs reflect personalities of owners: UK study

May 31, 2012 12:00:00 AM PDT
A new study out of Great Britain suggests that people and their dogs are even more alike than originally believed. Results show that nice people typically have pleasant, well-behaved dogs, while disagreeable people have usually have aggressive dogs.

One particular bull terrier was singled out in the British study as an aggressive dog. So a reporter went in search of the dog's owner to see what she was like.

"My dog is not aggressive," the woman said. Asked if she is aggressive, she replied, "Sometimes, but not always."

It should be noted that the study also revealed that the owners of toy breeds are not "high maintenance." They are in fact, open and intelligent.
