The teenager was taking classes at 45-year-old Yoshitomo Kaneda's modeling school. Prosecutors say he took the girl to his apartment promising to teach her Japanese, but instead sexually assaulted her.
They say Kaneda left incriminating phone messages for the girl's mother and manager. Trial is set to begin June 7.
