Thirteen student protesters were arrested at UCLA Friday after they occupied the admissions office, demanding an increase in minority enrollment.

Around 30 demonstrators were calling on UCLA to double the number of minority students. They also want the repeal of Proposition 209, a constitutional amendment that prohibits the consideration of race and ethnicity in public education.

None of the students arrested attend UCLA. The students went peacefully upon arrest and none were injured, according to UCLA. The protesters will be cited.

CORRECTION: It was reported earlier that 14 students were arrested. A statement from UCLA confirmed only 13 were arrested.
