Authorities responded to Warner Avenue Baptist Church in the 7300 block Warner Avenue at 10:20 a.m. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle for about 10 minutes, but rescue crews were able to extricate him and rush him to a local hospital.
No one else was in the truck, and no other injuries were reported.
The church is reportedly the oldest in Orange County. This was the third time the structure had been damaged in the past 25 years.
