Lack of sleep may increase chance of stroke - study

LOS ANGELES

A new study finds that those who sleep less than six hours a night are four times more likely to have a stroke. The findings are the first to link insufficient sleep to stroke.

Just last month, a government study found that 30 percent of working adults get six hours of sleep or less. Experts recommend seven to nine.
